After the collar has dried and the walls double checked for levelness, the plumbing is installed. Our basic pool has 2 skimmers , 2 main drains and 2 returns and 2 jets in the steps. This particular one has 2 skimmers, 2 main drains, 4 returns, 2 step jets and 3 bench jets. It also came with a dedicated line for the future waterfall. Our pools are backfilled by hand for the first 12" on top of the collar, then the plumbing is run, then another 12" of fill on top of the plumbing by hand. After this is completed, we will usually will bring in a machine to finish the backfilling and do a rough grading of the area.
